CLT Kids Guide

How this guide works

Planning camp around Charlotte usually means twenty browser tabs and a spreadsheet. This guide puts it in one place, with the details parents actually compare.

Where the information comes from

We read each camp's own website: their camp page, price list, brochure or registration page. Every listing links to those pages under "Where this came from," and shows the date we last checked.

What "hasn't posted yet" means

Many camps post next summer's prices and dates between January and March. Until they do, we show last year's details labeled with the year, or we leave the field blank. We'd rather show a blank than a guess.

Basic listings

Some camps don't have clear details online. We still list them with a name, location and link, so you know they exist, and fill them in once the camp posts more.

Ages and grades

When a camp lists grades, we show the matching ages too, using the grade your child will be entering in the fall. A rising 1st grader is usually 6.

Who runs this
